Marden Jones

Danville Marden I. Jones, 92, of Danville passed away at 8:08 PM on April 15, 2019 at Gardenview Manor.

Marden was born on May 20, 1926 the daughter of Earl and Doris (Greenwood) Snack in Lovington, IL. He married Russell Jones on July 13, 1946 in Danville, IL and he preceded her in death on November 27, 2013.

Survivors include her two sons; Randy (Constance) Jones of Danville and Larry (Rhonda) Jones of Danville, IL, one sister; Millie Hilton of Bakersfield, CA as well as two grandchildren; Larry Russell Jones, Jr of Ashland, MO and Kalee Jones of Groton, CT and one great grandchild; Asher Grant.

Marden is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Russell, brothers; Bill, Virgil, Elmer and Gene Snack and sister; Edna Ferling

Marden enjoyed spending her free time gardening, sewing, cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

A Graveside Committal will be held on Thursday April 18, 2019 at 10:00 AM in Sunset Memorial Park with Robbie Ketcherside officiating. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St., Danville, Illinois 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements.
