Marcia Sue Bolser

Marcia Sue Bolser, 76, of Fairmount, IL. passed away at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living in Chrisman, IL. on Tuesday November 14th, 2017 with family by her side. Marcia was born the daughter of Walter and Dorothea (Miller) Davis on December 2nd, 1940 in Kankakee, IL. Marcia married Clark Bolser on October 9th, 2001 in Gatlinburg, TN, He preceded her in death on March 23rd, 2016. Marcia leaves behind one son, David Gerdes of Evansville, IN, one daughter Julie (Jay) Fruhling of Fairmount, IL. one stepson Mark (Ginna) Bolser, four grandchildren; Colby Fruhling, Whitney Fruhling, Jesse Fruhling and Thea (Luke) Gernand, two great grandchildren; Kelly Cochran and Georgia Fruhling, two brothers; Jerry Davis and Scott Davis, four step grandchildren; Kaelin Sager, Owen Bolser, Kristopher Bolser and Madelyn Bolser and many nieces and nephews. Marcia was preceded in death by her father Walter, mother Dorothea and her step father Fred Fitzimmons, one brother Ronald Davis, sister Shirley Davis-Johnson, step brother Bob Fitzimmons, step sisters Connie Turpin and Carole Latoz. Marcia loved the Lord and was a member of Catlin Church of Christ where she was involved in the Lois and Eunice Circle. She enjoyed working out in the yard with her gardening and flowers, an avid garage saler and cheering on the Illini and the Cubs. Most of all it was the time she spent with her friends and family that she treasured the most. A Celebration of Marcia's life will be held on Sunday November 19, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home 3940 N Vermilion St Danville, IL. at 2pm. With Pastor Chris Lawler officiating. Burial will follow at OakRidge Cemetery in Catlin, IL. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday November 18, 2017 from 4 - 7pm.
