Marcia J. Crowder

Cayuga, Ind. - Marcia J. Crowder, 79, of Cayuga, went home to be with our Lord on the morning of May 9, 2012 while a patient at Provena United Samaritians Medical Center in Danville, Illinois. She was born March 15, 1933 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Donald and Delilah Leoma Phillips Heidrick. She married James R. Crowder on June 28, 1953 in Perrysville, Indiana. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Daniel A.(Luann)Crowder of Brownsburg, Indiana and Thomas L.(Karen)Crowder of Cayuga, Indiana; five grandchildren, Matthew A.(Desiree)Crowder; Michael R.(Jenni)Crowder; Amanda M. Crowder; Sylvia L. Crowder and Olivia L. Crowder; one great granddaughter, Alyssa C. Crowder; three sisters, Jean Lister of Danville, Illinois; Mildred Hettmansberger of Gray, Georgia and Ruth Guetterman of Martin, Tennessee; one brother, Doug(Marilyn)Heidrick of Danville, Illinois; several nieces and nephews. For almost 20 years Marcia worked with her husband in the insurance and real estate office. She was a 1950 graduate of Perrysville High School. Marcia Attended the Calvary Baptist Church in Danville, Illinois. Funeral services: 4 P.M. EDT Saturday, May 12, 2012 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Burial: Lower Mound Cemetery north of Perrysville, Indiana; Visitation: 3 P.M.
