Marcia A. Stein

Clinton, Ind. - Marcia A. Stein, 75, of Clinton and formerly of Newport, passed away at 4:50 a.m. EDT Saturday, October 27, 2018 at The Gibson Family Center For Hospice Care in Terre Haute, Indiana.

She was born January 1, 1943 in Danville, Illinois the daughter of the late Louis and Geneva (Pollard) Stein.

Survivors include her children: Evonne (Edward) Canary of Coatesville, Indiana; Jamie (Ron) Hofmann of Brazil, Indiana and Lowell (Dee) Pickett of Rockville, Indiana; six grandchildren: Travis; Jessica; Meghan; Hailey; Kaleb and Garry; two great grandchildren: Alexander James and Livia Ann; two brothers: Louis (Judy) Stein of Newport, Indiana and Robert (Lynn) Stein of Covington, Indiana, along with several nieces and nephews.

Marcia was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Allen.

Marcia retired from Steel Grip in Kingman, Indiana. She attended the Newport Friends Church. Marcia enjoyed reading, watching Purdue University sports and San Francisco Forty-Niners football. Most of all, Marcia enjoyed spending time with her family.

Funeral services: 2 p.m. EDT Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Louis and Robert Stein; Burial: Thomas Cemetery, Newport, Indiana; Visitation: Noon EDT Tuesday, October 30, 2018 until time of services at the funeral home.
