Marcella F. Damilano

Marcella F. Damilano, 93, Hartselle, AL, formerly of Westville, IL, passed away at 10:00am, Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at the home of her son in Hartselle, AL. She was born on April 29, 1920, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Anthony and Anna {Melecosky} Gastent, both deceased. She was united in marriage to Mark Damilano until his passing on August 15, 2000. She is survived by her son, Mark (Debra) Damilano Jr. of Hartselle, AL, and her grandson, Mark (Angela) Damilano of Decatur, AL. She was preceded in death by her two sisters & four brothers. Marcella worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Lakeview Hospital in the Pediatric department. She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Westville. She enjoyed traveling and loved raising flowers. A Celebration of Marcella life will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, March 31, 2014, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel with Fr. Sauppe officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Westville.
