Maralee Lang

Maralee Lang, 52, of Crawfordsville, passed away on February 16, 2015 at Hendricks Regional Hospital in Danville, IN. She was born on May 16, 1962 in Danville, IL, the daughter of Charles and Lucy (Jackson) Keller. She married David Britton and he preceded her in death on February 10, 1993. Maralee later married Alan Lang on May 5, 2000 in Kentucky. He survives. Maralee will be deeply missed by her husband, four daughters; Tara (Tony) Lucas of Williamsport, IN, Amanda Burchett of Florida, Lucy Burchett of Veedersburg, IN, and Jolene Burchett of Crawfordsville, two step daughters, Tracey Hayes and Wesley Lang, one brother, Charles B. Keller Jr. of Moss Point, MS, two sisters, Jody (Gary) Rush of Waynetown, IN, Susie (Bill) Keller of Veedersburg, IN and fourteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one husband. Maralee was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved fishing, reading making crafts and quilting in the Native American style. Animals held a special place in her heart, especially her dogs “Buddy” and “Pete” and cat “Bo”. A celebration of Maralees life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Sunsets Covington Chapel, Covington, IN, with Pastor Bill Cook officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 -1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Per Maralees wishes she will be cremated and any memorial donations can be sent to Hendricks Regional Hospital 1000 E Main St, Danville, IN 46122 in her name.
