GEORGETOWN - Madonna June (Brown/Maskel) Patterson, 87, of Georgetown, passed away at 5:15pm on Wednesday, July 6th, 2005, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. She was born on June 13th, 1918, in Medaryville, IN, the daughter of Fred and Catherine (Cox) Maskel. She married Charles Marion Patterson on February 1st, 1936, at the home of Rev. Minnie (Sanders) Hollingsworth in Georgetown. Her husband still resides in Georgetown. Other survivors include: three sons, Robert Patterson, Richard Patterson, and John Patterson, all of Georgetown; two daughters, Donna L. (Robert) Brimner of Grandview, IL, and Bonita (Stephen) Cook of Cayuga, IN; her four sisters, Alice Bobbie Wheeler of Dearborn Heights, MI, Charlotte Reynolds of Georgetown, Beverly Paltridge of Tilton, and Mary Jane Balsis of Paris, IL; her 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren. Her parents, three brothers -Oscar, Harry, and Harold, one daughter-in-law - Carolyn, and two grandchildren - Scott and Terry Cook, preceded her in death. Madonna was a homemaker and a very persnickety housekeeper. She enjoyed quilting, embroidering, raising roses, mushroom hunting, berry picking, camping, collecting Owls and spending time with her family.
