Madisen Elizabeth Leverenz, 19, of Danville, died 10:18 a.m.on Sunday, March 25, 2007. Madisen was born March 8,1988 in Danville the treasured daughter of Mac and Candace Leverenz nee Hathaway. She is survived by her beautiful precocious daughter Alaya Elizabeth Leverenz Hill, her loving sister; Liya (James) Hussmann-Rogers and proud younger brother Mac Leverenz; she is also survived Grandparents; Nancy (Jim) Lowenstein; aunts and uncles; Patrice (Ted) Garner, Denise Fortunato, Thomas J. (Julie) Leverenz, William T. (Kim) Leverenz IV, Robert (Debra) Hathaway, Susan (Mike) Glynn, Sondra (Scott) Dyer and Sally (Joe) Cromwell, and many cousins and her niece Ella Elizabeth Rogers. She was preceded by her maternal grandparents Robert and Betty Hathaway and paternal grandfather William T. Leverenz III Madisen was spirited and dynamic and enjoyed many things in life. She adored her daughter. She loved to shop with her Mom, and golf with her Dad at Turtle Run, and spend time being the big sister to her brother. She was proud of her big sister who always watched out over her. Maddy could not wait to get her Chihuahua, Lily, whom she carried with her everywhere, and after Alaya was born, they shared Lily. She also enjoyed reading poetry, crafting, and especially found comfort and joy in music. Maddie loved to travel and see the sun set over the ocean. Maddie was also a good friend to many. Maddy had a special friend in Tu Tu McCullough and Marlon (J.R.) Hill. Though taken to soon, Maddie touched many lives and was loved deeply by many, perhaps more than she knew. She will always be missed, but her legacy will carry on in those she knew and loved. Funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m. Thursday, March 29,2007 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Officiating Father Geoffrey Scanlon. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
