Mabel Henderson

Eugene, Ind. -- Mabel Henderson, 92, Eugene, Indiana passed away at 3:30 p.m. CDT Monday, September 21, 2009 at North Logan Health Care in Danville, Illinois. She was born on December 25, 1916 in Ewing, Virginia, the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma Hall Hounshell. She married Louis O. Henderson on June 22, 1946 in Middleboro, Kentucky. He preceded her in death on April 11, 2004. Survivors include two sons, Owen(Gail)Henderson of Kingman, Indiana and Rev. Johnny(Tammy)Henderson of Danville, Illinois; son in law, David Bonesteel of Eugene, Indiana; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mabel was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Lou Bonesteel; four sisters and five brothers. Mabel was a homemaker. She was a member of the Community Holiness Church in Cayuga, Indiana. Mabel enjoyed gardening, quilting and cooking.
