Mabel Englert

Mabel Eleanor Englert, 77, of Danville, IL passed away at 8:07 pm October 15, 2006 at Provena USMC Logan Campus in Danville. She was born April 25, 1929 in Danville, IL daughter of Edward and Murial Wiggle Elliott. She married Frederick Englert on May 29, 1948 in Danville. He preceded her in June of 1987. Survivors include: daughter: Barbara Englert, Sister: Betty Hendrickson, Grandchildren: Travis Vannote Jr., Elizabeth (Adrian) Durgan, Helen Penn, and Jessica Penn. Great Grandchildren: Cheyanne, Cierra, Mikylah. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Patricia Englert, Brothers: Houston and Jim, Sisters: Edith and Gracie. Mabel was dedicated home maker, enjoyed baseball, and was an avid scrap booker. A Celebration of Mabels life will be held at 2:00 pm October 19, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Danville, with Pastor Jay Sorrell officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral Home. Burial will be at Johnson cemetery in Danville.
