Mary Eileen Boller, 91, passed away on February 10, 2025 at Fountain Springs Assisted Living in Covington. She was born in Kentucky on December 7, 1934 to the late Leland and Lillian Brookshire. Eileen's journey began in Perrysville, where she spent her early years before her family moved to Covington. It was in Covington that she completed her senior year of high school.
After graduating, she embraced a life that would be defined by her devotion to her family and her contributions to her community. Eileen was a homemaker, while also juggling the books for Warrick Motors for a time, as well as managing the financial records for her husband's company. Eileen was married to the love of her life, Fred Boller, and the two were nearing their 65th wedding anniversary when Freddie passed in 2019.
A member of the Maranatha Baptist Church, Eileen was known for playing piano by ear and her strong faith and was an active participant in her church community. She enjoyed gathering with friends, and particularly looked forward to her Tuesday morning coffee group, where laughter and camaraderie filled the air. Eileen had a passion for bingo days at Fountain Springs, where she found joy in friendly competition and spending quality time with friends.
Gardening and yard work brought Eileen much satisfaction, as she poured her heart into nurturing her surroundings. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating memories that will last a lifetime. She was a remarkable cook, renowned for her angel food cake that was a staple for many birthdays.
In addition to her parents and husband, Eileen was preceded in death by her daughter Deborah Sue Boller and her siblings Achilles Brookshire, Rosetta Martin, Pearl Brookshire, and Anna Mae Sherman.
Eileen leaves behind her daughters Patricia (Raymond) Martin and Melinda (Aaron) Burke; her grandchildren, Allison (Jason Pearcy) Walker, Phillip (Chasity) Myers, Tyler (Kali) Myers, Nathan (Nichole) Burke & Amelia (Travis) Shannon; and her great-grandchildren, Landon Nixon, Bryson Myers, Brooklynn Myers, Kayden Myers, Willow Myers, Lexi Stitt, Lane Stitt, Leyton Walker, Paxton Walker, Ali Burke, Noah Burke, & Avery Shannon.
The family would like to extend a warm thank you to the staff at Fountain Springs and Southern Care Hospice for the love and wonderful care that Eileen received.
