M. Deena Binon, 89, of Danville, passed away at 5:45pm on Friday, January 16, 2009 at the Vermilion Manor Nursing Home in Tilton. She was born on June 24, 1919, in Oakwood Township, the daughter of Fred and Hallie (DeMoss) Crane. She is survived by her son, Monty (Judith) Foley of Danville, and daughter, Kathy (Eric) Goldberger of Beverly Hills, California. Her nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren also survive Deena. Her parents, grandmother, Rosa DeMoss, brother, Frank DeMoss, and her son, Jim Foley precedes Deena in death. Deena and her brother, Frank, were adopted and raised by their grandmother, Rosa DeMoss, upon the death of both their parents. In the mid fifties, she relocated to California, and while working at the Braile Institute for the Blind; met and married Roger Binon. Together they ran a music studio for voice lessons for thirty years, eventually retiring.
