Lula Mae Morgan

Cayuga, Ind. -- Lula Mae Morgan, 90, a resident of The Waters of Covington for the past 6 months and formerly of Cayuga and Perrysville, Indiana passed away at 4:30 a.m. EST Saturday, December 29, 2007 at The Waters of Covington in Covington, Indiana. She was born March 7, 1917 in Covington, Indiana, the daughter of the late Bert and Mary Williams Farner. She married Henry D. Morgan on July 3, 1937 in Newport, Indiana. He preceded her in death on June 15, 1997. Survivors include her children: Junior Shoemaker of Covington, Indiana; Janet Lois of Cayuga, Indiana; Marion C. Morgan and John(Kathy)Morgan both of Covington, Indiana; Robert(Donna)Morgan of Newport, Indiana and Ralph Morgan of Cayuga, Indiana; nineteen grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren; one brother, Carl Farner of Bargersville, Indiana. Lula was a homemaker. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America. Lula enjoyed fishing, sewing, gardening, canning and cooking. Funeral services: 10 a.m. EST Monday, December 31, 2007 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Paul Kent; Burial: Lower Mound Cemetery, North of Perrysville, Indiana; Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. EST Sunday, December 30, 2007 at the funeral home.
