Lula M. Farrell, 79, of Westville, passed away at 8:05pm, Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at Paris Community Hospital. She was born on May 7, 1930, in Danville the daughter of Ivan and Violet (Wagle) Jenkins, both deceased. She was married to Howard Sparky R. Farrell on June 14, 1947, in Danville, IL, until his passing in 2000. Those who will miss her include: her son, Dennis (Janet) Farrell of Westville; her daughters, Dianna (Steve) Miller of Linden, IN, Judy Burton of Tilton, IL, Betty (Randy) Miller of Danville, & Dixie (Chris Weaver) Dalbey of Chrisman; her twenty-six grandchildren; her forty-six great grandchildren; her four great-great grandchildren; her brother, Penny Jenkins of Westville; her sisters-in-law, Inez Acord of Georgetown, Mabel Lisick of Danville, & Evelyn Farrell of Georgetown; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by: her son, John; her son-in-law, Harry Burton; two sisters, Virginia Anderson & Bonnie Rollins; and her two brothers, Alexander Jenkins & Clarence Jenkins. Lula was homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed going for car rides as well as going out for dinner. She also liked to watch movies. A celebration of Lulas life will be held at 11:00am, Monday, October 26, 2009, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St, Westville, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be 5pm to 8pm, Sunday, October 25, 2009, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Sandusky Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in Lulas name to donors choice.
