Luella 'Faye' Dysert

Oakwood- Luella "Faye" Dysert, 91, of Oakwood passed away at 4:23 am on August 30, 2018 at Hawthorne Inn, Danville, IL. "Faye" was born on August 2, 1927 the daughter of Earl and Ophia (Miller) Miller in Oakland City, IN. She married Marion Dysert on June14,1945 in Henderson, KY and he preceded her in death on March 27th, 2000. "Faye" is survived by her sons; Alan (Michele Ashton-Dysert) Dysert of Franklin, TN, and Terry (Mindy Stein-Dysert) Dysert of Pittsburgh, PA, as well as three grandchildren; Cody, Cooper and Ethan Dysert. "Faye" is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Marion and sisters; Donna Huff and Lorene McDonald. "Faye" was a member of the Oakwood United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending her free time reading, watching various sports, especially the Bulls, Cubs, Illini teams, the Oakwood Comets, and adored her two sons and three grandsons. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Oakwood United Methodist Church; 200 N Oakwood Street in Oakwood, IL. Sunset's Oakwood Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Pastor Leland Legg will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the church.
