Lucille Zotz

Lucille M. Zotz, of Danville, went to be with the Lord and her beloved husband Charles on October 19, 2015. She was born in Sydney, Illinois, the daughter of Cecil and Beulah (Potts) Ross. She married Charles Zotz and he preceded her in death on April 1, 1983. Lucille will be deeply missed by her children; Barbara Eller of Mt. Vernon, IL, Mary (Dennis) Van Duyn of Danville, niece that she raised Debbie (Jim) Lappin of Danville, sister, Wanda Mascari of Danville, grandchildren; Eric and Alana Eller, Jennifer (Dan) Wilson, Errol (Rebecca) Eller, Kerri (Sam) Utnage, James Van Duyn, great grandchildren; Deanna, Marina, B'Elanna, Caleb, Annika, Connor, Naomi, Ezri, Sammy and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers; Glen, Bill and Gene Ross, sister, Linda Gowens and special friend, Evelyn Dobbles. Lucille loved reading, being outdoors, watching the Cubs, Illini and Chicago Bulls. She was a lifetime member of Vermilion Heights Christian Church and loved her church family. A celebration of Lucille's life will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Rod Godley officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM prior to the service. Lucille will be laid to rest next to Charles at Springhill Cemetery.
