Danville Lucille Lyman, 100, of Danville passed away at 7:26 AM on May 15, 2021 at Accolade Healthcare in Danville, IL.

Lucille was born on October 14, 1920 in Danville, IL the daughter of James A and Nellie Mae (Price) Edwards. She married Lawrence A. Lyman on June 4, 1937 and he preceded her in death on April 4, 1982.

Survivors include her sons, Bennie (Florence) Lyman of Tilton, IL, Steve (Bonnie) Lyman of Tilton, IL, her daughter, Linda Williams of Danville, IL, nine grandchildren, Benny (Becky) Lyman, Carol Burke, Mark (Nancy) Lyman, Laura (Richard) Donaldson, Robin (Bryan) Madigan, Alan (Janice) Williams, John Williams, Andrea (Wade) Pickerel, and Brandon (Jenny) Lyman, as well as seventeen great grandchildren.

Lucille is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lawrence, two sons, Bobby Lyman and Larry Lyman, three brothers, Robert, James and Jacob Lyman and three sister, Geneva, Dorothy and Mary.

Lucille worked for H&R Block for many years. She enjoyed spending her free time dancing, traveling, family events and playing Euchre.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 10:00 AM Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N Vermilion St., Danville, Illinois 61834. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 9:00 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at the funeral home.

It is kindly requested that those in attendance of the visitation or services wear a mask and practice social distancing.
