Lucille Kuyrkendall

Georgetown- Lucille C. Kuyrkendall 83 of Georgetown passed away at 7:15pm Thursday March 3, 2005 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville. She was born in Southern Illinois on June 5, 1921, the daughter of Curtis and Bertha (Grubb) Stough. They both precede Lucille in death. After her youth, she met and married Wayne S. Kuyrkendall in Clarke County IL. He preceded her in death in 1976. Lucille leaves behind one son, Bob (Jeri) Kuyrkendall of Georgetown, three grandchildren, Rob (Pam) Kuyrkendall of Mattoon, Il, Amy Kuyrkendall of Oakwood, Il, Chris (Heather) Barton of Georgia, two great-grandchildren, Kylan and Jazmine Kuyrkendall, two-step great-grandchildren, Brady and Dustin Barton, and many special friends. Her parents, and brother, Arthur precedes her in death. Lucille was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Georgetown. She worked at the former Wool-n-Wear Sewing Factory in Georgetown and, in her spare time enjoyed flowers, gardening and spending time with her family.
