Lucille Harper

Lucille Harper, 96, of Tilton, IL, passed away on January 11, 2022, at her sisters home. She was born at home in Georgetown, IL, on June 2, 1925, the daughter of Smith and Alice Moody. On September 26, 1940, she married Marion Harper until his passing on March 1, 1997.

Lucille is survived by her sister, Patty Nale; sons Larry Dean (Marlene) Harper and Ron (Diana) Harper; grandchildren, Larry Wayne (Gina) Harper, Michael (Brandy) Harper, Denise Shepherd, and Shawn (Amber) Harper and 4 great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in by her death parents, Smith and Alice Moody; sisters, Maxine Brazelton, Elizabeth Alagna, Pauline Rollins, and Irene Columbo; brothers, Wilbur, Robert and Kenneth Moody.

Lucille worked at General Electric for 39 years until she retired. During her last days, Lucille was cared for by her sister, Patty Anne and niece, Joan. The family expresses their appreciation for the great care they took in Lucilles final days.
