Lucille F. Ludwig

Danville - Lucille F. Ludwig, 89, of Danville passed away at 7:58 AM on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Pleasant Meadows Nursing Home in Chrisman. She was born on December 14, 1924 in Oakwood, IL to Virgil and Frances Miller Taylor. She married Robert Guy Ludwig in St. Louis, MO on November 7, 1942. He preceded her in death on February 27, 2007. She is also survived by a son, Robert A. Ludwig of Georgetown, IL; one sister, Vivian Lee of Champaign; a brother, Larry Taylor of Beaverton, OR; and two grandsons, Robert L. Ludwig of Dickinson, SD and Ryan A. Ludwig of Indianapolis, IN. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Virgil, Edward, and William Taylor, and a sister Linda Taylor. Lucille was a long-time member at Muncie Baptist Church where she served on the Missionary Board and taught Sunday school. She was also involved with her community as a Cub Scout Leader and as a member of the PTA. A graveside service to celebrate the life of Lucille Ludwig will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at the Chapel Mausoleum located in Sunset Memorial Park.
