Lucille E. {Mascari} Karelas

Lucille E. {Mascari} Karelas 98, of Westville passed away at 1:00 a.m. Thursday August 12, 2010 at Champaign County Nursing Home in Urbana. She was born on March 12, 1912 in Danville the daughter of Frank and Lucia Josephine Mascari. Lucille was united in marriage to Harry Karelas in Danville; he preceded her in death in 1972. Surviving is her niece Lucille Busey of Urbana along with many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and seven brothers. Lucille was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with her family. She was the last of thirteen siblings. A celebration of life service for Lucille E. Karelas will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday August 14, 2010 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, A Life Celebration Home 414 S. State Street Westville IL. Father Timothy Sauppe will officiate. Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Danville.
