Lowell Bud O. Corzine, 83, of Fithian, passed away at 3:50 a.m. Saturday, November 05, 2005 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Bud was born on October 4, 1922 in Balcom, Illinois, the son of Silas and Flora (Dillow) Corzine. He married Helen Golden on February 4, 1950 in Peoria, Illinois. She survives. He is also survived by one son-Michael Corzine of Danville; one daughter- Sandra (Daniel) Jeffers of Fithian; three granddaughters- April Jeffers, Kayla Corzine, and Lyncie Corzine; one great-grandson- Jaired Jeffers. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother- Clyde Corzine; four sisters- Lois Hileman Lorene Hileman, Helen Davidson, and Emma Teague. Bud served during World War II in the United States Army. He worked at R.H. Bishop Company in Champaign for 35 years in the heating and air conditioning business. He retired from there in 1987. He was a member of Pipe Fitters Local #149 in Champaign. He was also a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Danville. Bud enjoyed working. He also enjoyed working in his yard and in his garden. He loved being outdoors and fishing. A celebration of the life of Lowell Bud O. Corzine will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, with Rev. Jerry Short officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday. Burial will be at Stearns Cemetery in Fithian.
