Lowell King Andrews, 91, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died Thursday, March 3, 2011. He was a member of Central Christian Church in Danville, IL and attended Hermitage United Methodist Church in Hermitage, TN. Mr. Andrews was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved ball room dancing and Big Band music, was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Teamsters. Mr. Andrews was preceded in death by his parents, Willard A. and Eva King Andrews. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Dale Andrews and sisters, Marie Ruster and Olive Taflinger. He is survived by Daughters Cheryl Rudnicke of Hermitage, TN and Gail Hardy of Smyrna, TN; Step-Sons, Bruce Jones of Knoxville, TN and Allen Jones of Athens, AL; Sister Mary Blanche Pierce of Van Nuys, CA; Grandchildren Mike Hardy of Smyrna, TN, David Hardy of White House, TN, Carrie Jones of Maryville, TNu, Lacey Jones of Milwaukee, WI, and Amy Cottrill of Danville, CA; and 9 Great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2011 with visitation 1 hour prior to service time at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home at 3940 North Vermilion Rd. Danville, IL 61834 with Rev. Hank Anderson officiating. Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2011 at Walnut Corner in Bismark, IL.
