Louise Stanis

WESTVILLE - Louise Stanis, 100, of Westville passed away at 5:25 a.m. Tuesday January 23, 2007 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home. She was born on April 9, 1906 in Westville, IL the daughter of John and Clara Oldani. She married Ted Stanis on July 26, 1927. He preceded her in death on June 22, 1997. They resided in Detroit, MI for fifty years. Louise is survived by one niece, Dorothy Schaffer of Westville. She was preceded in death by her husband and her sister, Mary L. Vacketta. Louise was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling, baking, and sewing.
