Louise Evelyn Ross Louise E. Ross, 95, of Danville, passed away at 12:10 p.m., Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at North Logan Healthcare Center, in Danville, Illinois. She was born on September 15, 1910, in Georgetown, IL, the daughter of John A. Emory and Minerva Currington Louise married Forrest Irvin Ross on June 29, 1931 in Chrisman, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 1942. Survivors include; a daughter, Betty L. (Donald) Schultz of Bismarck, IL., and daughter-in-law, Elsa Ross of Tilton, IL. ; 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Louise was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Norman Ross; four brothers, Clarence Emory, Clyde Emory, Charles Emory and Chell Emory; and two granddaughters, Julie Siddens and Peggy OHerron. Louise worked at Woolen-Wear Jacket Factory until 1970. She also worked for Muesbuck and Florsheim Shoe Factories until they both closed. In 1990, Louise was baptized at the First Church of Christ in Bismarck, IL, at the age of 80. A celebration of Louises life will be held on Friday, July 14, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Lakeside-Barrick Funeral Chapel, 3550 N. Vermilion Street, Danville, with Herb Smith officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 1-2 p.m., one hour prior to service, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
