Louise Earley, 88, of Peoria, IL, formerly of Danville passed away at 4:20p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2008 at OSF Saint Claire Home in Peoria. She was born January 29, 1920 in Oakwood, IL, the daughter of Ernst and Freda (Wainwright) Miller. Louise married Harold Earley on July 14, 1946 in Danville. He preceded her in death on October 14, 1986. Three children, Rick (Lynn) Earley of Peoria, Linda Kopka of Francisville, IN, and Patricia Gordon of Danville, two brothers, Ernest Miller of Oakwood, and Charles Miller of Danville, and several grandchildren and great- grandchildren survive her. Her parents, husband, and one brother preceded her in death. Louise, in her earlier years, worked at the Five and Dime, S.S. Kresege, and The New Way Store on Madison Square, all in Danville. She was an excellent baker, especially her pineapple upside down cake, which took many blue ribbons at the Georgetown Fair. Louise enjoyed attending the Hoopeston Sweet Corn Festival, her church services, and distant walks. A private entombment at Springhill Cemetery Mausoleum was held for Louise.
