Cayuga, Ind. -- Louisa Marie Miller, 73, of Cayuga and a resident of Vermilion Manor Nursing Home for the past six years, passed away at 4:21 p.m. CDT Friday, March 26, 2010 at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home in Tilton, Illinois. She was born July 20, 1936 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of the late John and Emma Atwood Cundiff. She married Paul W. Miller, Sr. on March 2, 1956 in Danville, Illinois. He survives. Other survivors include five sons, Paul Miller, Jr. of Cayuga, Indiana; Charles Miller of Perrysville, Indiana; Earl(Pam)Miller of Cayuga, Indiana; Darrell(Nancy)Miller of Brownsburg, Indiana and Andy Miller of Cayuga, Indiana; five grandchildren, Matt Miller, Megan Miller, Mike Miller, Ryan Miller and Stacey Harvey; one sister, June(John)McFarland of Fairmount, Illinois; three brothers, Francis Cundiff of Hoopeston, Illinois; Jesse(Betty)Cundiff of Oakwood, Illinois and Theodore(Pat)Cundiff of Danville, Illinois. She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. Marie worked at General Electric in Danville, Illinois for thirteen years, retiring in 1969. She then sold Avon in the Cayuga, Indiana area for several years. Marie was a member of the Cedar Grove Church of the Nazarene in Danville, Illinois. She was a 1954 graduate of Armstrong High School. Marie enjoyed gardening and raising flowers. Funeral services: 1 p.m. EDT Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Don Morgan; Burial: McKendree Cemetery, Georgetown, Illinois; Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EDT Monday, March 29, 2010 at the funeral home.
