WESTVILLE - Louis Jones, 70, of Westville, passed away at 9:20am, Wednesday, June 6th, 2007, at Provena USMC in Danville. He was born on August 22nd, 1936, in Wilkes-Barre, PA, the son of Edward and Marie (Mazuer) Jones, both deceased. He was wed to Clara P. Lutz on February 16th, 2003, in Westville, IL. She survives. Other survivors include: his children, James Jones of Chesapeake, VA, William Jones of Marshall, IL, & Brian (Brenda) Jones of Paris, IL; his stepchildren, David (Frieda) Driver of Kentucky, Beverly (Ronald) Irvin of Danville, Barbara Driver of Champaign, IL, Kimberly Stamper of Arizona, & Penny (William) Cook of Arizona; his twenty grandchildren; his three great grandchildren; and his brother, Edward Jones of New York. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. He served in the US Army from 1954-1957. He was a truck driver for 42 years. He was a member of the Westville American Legion Post #51 and a member of the Local Teamster Union #710 and #26. He enjoyed gardening, canning and cooking. The family would like to thank everyone that helped them through the past five years. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, June 12th, 2007, with visitation from 9:00am to 11:00am prior to the service at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St., Westville, IL. Reverend James Blue will officiate. He will be laid to rest in Danville National Cemetery with military rites.
