Louella M. Peterson

Cayuga, Ind. - Louella M. Peterson, 64, of Cayuga, passed away at 10:13 a.m. EDT Saturday, September 21, 2019 at her residence.

She was born October 12, 1954 in Danville, Illinois the daughter of Bertie J. and Marie (Pearman) Peterson.

Survivors include her mother: Marie Peterson of Cayuga, Indiana; Brother: Leslie Peterson of Cayuga, Indiana; nieces and nephews: Nickie (Seth) McLain; Lesley (Dan) Keyes; Jake (Kylee) Peterson and Sarah (Kyle) Carpenter; three great nieces; eleven great nephews, and special friend: Charlotte Baker of Perrysville, Indiana.

Louella was preceded in death by her father, Bertie J. Peterson.

Louella was a former security guard at the Newport Army Ammunition Plant and formerly employed at Peterson Aerosol (Now KiK) in Danville, Illinois. She was currently working as a cashier at the Dollar General in Cayuga, Indiana. She was a 1972 graduate of North Vermillion High School. Louella enjoyed playing bingo, riverboat casinos, family cookouts, crocheting, spending time on her front porch swing and her family.

Graveside services: 12:30 p.m. EDT Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Thomas Cemetery in Newport, Indiana. Visitation: Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 10 a.m. until Noon EDT at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana.
