Lou Anna Wake, 91, of Tilton, passed this Life on Monday, January 25, 2010 at the Hawthorn Inn in Danville. She was born on August 14, 1918, in Clinton, IN, the daughter of Mr. Walter Eaton and Mrs. Cecil (Price) Eaton. On November 5, 1936, Lou Anna married Mr. James Wake in Clinton, IN. He preceded her in death in 2002. Surviving Lou Anna are her two children, Timothy (Jane) Wake of Marietta, Georgia, and Mona C. Collins of Danville. Her four grandchildren, Scott (Valerie) Wake of Rantoul, Storri (Chris) Doll of Oakwood Hills, IL, Craig (Gail) Collins of Danville, and Kyle Collins of Addison, IL. Two step-grandchildren, Michael (Barbara) Nicco of Danville, CA, and Cheryl (Tad) Heitzler of Hazelwood, MO. Six great grandchildren, Lucas and Mitchell Collins, Adam Blacine, Joshua Doll, Allison and Nicholas Wake, five step-grandchildren, Bradley and Elizabeth Doll, Logan and Mitchell Nicco, and Joseph Heitzler also survive Lou Anna. Her parents, and brother, Clee Sprague, preceded Lou Anna in death. Lou Anna was employed with Sears Department Store in Danville for 18 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Danville and enjoyed traveling. A Celebration of Life Service for Lou Anna Wake will begin at 10:00am Friday, January 29, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center located at 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville with internment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5-8pm on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Lou Annas name to the First United Methodist Church in Danville, and/or donors favorite charity.
