Lorri S Powell

Lorri S. Powell, 55, of Danville, passed away at 10:21 p.m. Wednesday September 12, 2012 at Provena USMC Logan Campus. She was born on July 22, 1957 in Danville, IL the daughter of Ivan Bradford and Anna (Nicely) Cunningham. She married Paul Powell on June 24, 1978 in Sarasota, FL. He preceded her in death on August 23, 2008. Survivors include her three sons, Jordan (Beth) Powell of Atlanta, GA, Jarred Powell of Danville, and Mason Powell of Danville; her daughter, Makenna Powell of Danville; three brothers, Mark (Susie) Cunningham of Danville, Kevin (Chiquita) Cunningham of Danville, and Craig Cunningham of IN; two sisters, Leesa (Tom) Hubbard of Danville and Lanette (Chuck) Cannady of Danville; a sister in law Sue Cunningham of Hutchinson, KS, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Darryl Cunningham. Lorri enjoyed watching sports, especially baseball. She was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. She enjoyed working out and reading. Most of all she adored her children. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday September 17, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Park. Daneen Rodriguez will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. Sunday September 16, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cameron M.
