Loretta N. Wooster

Cates, Ind. - Loretta N. Wooster, 72, of Cates, passed away at 6:24 p.m. EST Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital in Williamsport, Indiana.

She was born on June 11, 1946 in Danville, Illinois the daughter of the late Roy Junior and Roberta Nadine (Crowder) Tibbett.

Loretta was formerly married to Ron Moody and Bill Sanders. She later married James D. Wooster, Sr. on April 17, 1981 in Danville, Illinois. He preceded her in death on April 26, 2012.

Survivors include her children: Lyrea Moody of Kingman, Indiana; Sandy Moody of Danville, Illinois; Ruth McElfresh of Rolla, Missouri; William (Dana) Sanders, Jr. of Cates, Indiana; Kenneth (Holly Kocsis) Sanders of Cambridge, Ohio and Donny (Penny) Sanders of Cates, Indiana; step children: Susan (Doug) Pearson and Mary (Bobby) Hopkins both of St. James, Missouri; Carrie (Don) Reed of Florida; Shawna (Scot) Straight of Leeton, Missouri and James (Nikol) Wooster, Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; four sisters: Jessie Aubrey of South Carolina; Cherrel Barnett of Florida; Kathie Jewett of Kingman, Indiana and Sharon Clark of Perrysville, Indiana; one brother: Jerry (Gwen) Tibbett of Kingman, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.

Loretta was preceded in death by her brother: Terry Lee Tibbett.

Loretta was a homemaker. She attended the Kingman schools. Loretta enjoyed knitting, woodcrafts; sewing and spending time with her family, especially her many grandchildren.
