Loretta J. {Pribble} Henderson, 81, of Ridge Farm, passed away December 13, 2012, at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village, Chrisman. She was born September 23, 1931, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Danville, IL, to Milford & Anna {Stank} Pribble. She was married to Jimmy L. Henderson on July 3, 1955, at Oakwood Christian Church by the Rev. Don Goodwin. Jimmy survives. She is also survived by: her son, J. Kent (Betty) Henderson of Toledo; her grandson, Kaleb J. Henderson; her daughter, Kimberly A. Webb of Champaign; her grandson, Jason M. (Ellen) Webb of Fairview Heights, IL; her step-daughter, Marcy Ullom of Miami, FL; her cousin, Franklin Punchy' Gill, who was raised like a brother to her; her step-grandchildren; her nieces & nephews, including her special' niece, Valarie Kinnaman; her brother, Walter (Carolyn) Pribble of Homer; her nephews, Brad (Kim) Pribble of New Hampshire & Brent Pribble of St. Joseph; and her special neighbor, Cheryl Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters & brothers. She attended Georgetown, Henning, and Armstrong in 1949. She also attended Utterback & Brown Business College. She worked at Illinois Public Aid, Sears Credit Office in Fayetteville, NC, and also at Chicago Molding. She was a member of the Ridge Farm United Methodist Church where she served in several offices. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women and served as past president and treasurer. She also was a member and served as past president of the American Legion Dornblaser Post #203 Auxiliary. She was on the Vermilion County Council and served several years on the Ridge Farm Food Pantry & Christmas Basket Program. A celebration of Loretta's life will be held at 11:00am, Monday, December 17, 2012, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with George Desmond officiating. Visitation will be held 2p-4p, Sunday, December 16, 2012, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in her name to: Ridge Farm United Methodist Church or Pleasant Meadows Christian Village.
