Lonny Maxwell

Lonny Joe Maxwell, 60, of Georgetown, IL passed away September 18, 2006 at his residence. He was born September 10, 1946 in Danville son of Edwin and Mary Reeves Maxwell. He married Georgianna Dawes on December 24, 1970 at Farmers Chapel Church EUB. She survives along with their child Chase Maxwell of Danville. Daughter: Joanne Monroe (Ronald) of Wheatfield, IN. Brothers: Gary A. Maxwell of Alvin, IL & Edwin Maxwell of Tilton, IL. Sister: Diana Reed (Ralph) of Danville, IL. Three grandchildren: Jamie Barr (Thomas) of Demotte, IN, Jeana Morrison of Valparaiso, IN, and Tera Morrison of Wheatfield, IN. three great grandchildren: Thomas A. Barr, Angel Marsh, and Skylar Jones. Numerous cousins and two special friends: Bobby Johnson (Carla) of Vermilion grove, IL & Bill Gardiner (Patty) of Tilton, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Ronald Keith, and three children: Susan Michelle, Dustin Keith, and Troy Alan. Lonny attended Georgetown schools and drove for Schneider Trucking for ten years until owning and operating retail businesses. He was an avid Cubs Fan, enjoyed traveling and visiting with family and friends. A Celebration of Lonnys life will be held at 1:00 pm, September 21, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Danville, with Rev. James Blue officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville.
