Lola (Landrum) Stidham

On Monday, April 15, 2024, Lola was reunited with her late husband, three of her children, two grandsons and many others whom she loved and cherished.

Lola was born in Clayhole KY on April 17, 1939, a daughter of Albert and Vicy (Nix) Landrum.  She married Adrion Stidham on April 11, 1955 in Jackson, KY.  He preceded her death on February 24, 2021.  She has been a resident of Rantoul since the early 1990’s.

She is survived by a son Ronnie (Bonnie) Stidham of Arlington Heights, IL, 2 sisters, Louise Day of KY; Cindy (Jack) Stanford of FL, 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.

Her favorite past times were watching the Cubs, feeding her squirrels, and loving on her great-grandchildren and great-great-granddaughter.

Lola passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by her favorite people.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 on Wednesday morning at Lux Memorial Chapel, 1551 East Grove, Rantoul.  Burial will be at 2:00 at the Elmlawn Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL.

Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at Lux memorial Chapel, Rantoul.
