Lola B. Smith

Lodi, Ind. - Lola B. Smith, 73, of Lodi, passed away at 9:09 p.m. EDT Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at her residence.

She was born February 20, 1944 in Eugene, Indiana, the daughter of the late Marvin and Lola Bernice Mack Johnson. She married Charles L. Smith on May 27, 1960 in Lodi, Indiana. He survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Chuck(Dianne)Smith of Marshall, Indiana; Tony Smith of Lodi, Indiana and Shane Smith of Lodi, Indiana; nine grandchildren, Ariel, Rachel, Amber, Adam, Kirsten, Kailey, Vaelyn; Kaiden Trystan; six great grandchildren; Jordan, Austin, Gabriel; Nathan; Grayson and Brantley; one brother, Phillip(LouAnn)Johnson of Wolcott, Indiana; several nieces and nephews. Lola was preceded in death by four sisters, Lana Marshall; Collen Wilson; Patty Ohl and Dianna Hawn.

Lola formerly worked at the Turkey Run Inn as a clerk in the gift shop. She attended the Waterman Baptist Church in Lodi, Indiana. Lola was a former member of the Perrysville Chapter #302 O.E.S. She enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and spending time with her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services: 2 p.m. EDT Monday, April 3, 2017 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor John Goldfuss and Pastor William Lehman; Burial: Miller Cemetery in Lodi, Indiana; Visitation: Noon EDT Monday, April 3, 2017 until time of services at the funeral home.
