Lois Pauline Tuggle

Lois Pauline Tuggle, 89, of Covington, Indiana, passed away peacefully in Williamsport on March 24, 2026.

Lois was born on April 12, 1936, in Shawnee Township, in Fountain County, Indiana, to Earl and Glenna Waldron. On June 13, 1956, she married James Roy Tuggle, and together they shared a loving marriage of 49 years until his passing in 2005.

Lois is survived by her three sons: Steve (Jamie) Tuggle, Stuart (Angi) Tuggle, and Ben Tuggle. She was a cherished grandmother to Wyatt, Elizabeth, Heather, Haleigh, Brycin, Ryce, Allie, Olivia, Hayden, and Adrienne, and a proud great‑grandmother to Macy, Owen, Parker, Knox, Porter, Declan, Lane, and Billie.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy Tuggle, and her brothers, Rich and Dale Waldron.

Lois was a longtime member of Fountain Christian Church, where she joyfully played the piano every Sunday for many years. She worked in bookkeeping throughout her career, spending 30 years at Superior Coach in Perrysville, Indiana.

In her free time, Lois loved cooking for her family and tending to her garden—simple joys that brought her great happiness and made her home a warm, welcoming place for all who visited.

Her kindness, steady spirit, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Family and friends are invited to share memories, photos, and videos on Lois’s tribute wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.
