Lois Marshall, 91, of Covington, passed away at 2:33am, Monday, August 14, 2023, at her daughters home in Springfield, Missouri. She was born on January 17, 1932, in Potomac, Illinois, the daughter of Lester and Minnie Hollowell and Vernon and Genievieve Marshall. She was married to Marion Marshall on September 25, 1949, until his passing. She will be missed by her sister, Janice Keele; her children, Dianna Hall, Nancy (Steve) Starkey, Martha (Donald Fred) Williams, and Dennis (Susan Bobbette) Marshall; her grandchildren, Leighann Hall, Dawn Hall, Cindy Hall, Betty Hall, Brad (Lacey) Starkey, Dustin Williams, and Ashley (Bryan) Thompson; her great grandchildren, Courtney (Chad) Kuntzelman, Katlyn (Michael) Hungerford, Kristian Kyles, Brandon (Julee) Hall, Sparrow Starkey, Stone Starkey, Cassie (Brandon) Lauderdale, Luke (McKenna) Thompson, Emma Thompson, and Levi Thompson; her great-great grandchildren, Kaysen Kuntzelman, Kolby Kuntzelman, Grayson Hall, Sophia Hall, and Blayke Hall; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving Husband, Marion; her daughter, Karen; her grandson, Damien Williams; her son-in-law, Howard Hall; her brothers, William (Pearl) Hollowell, Daryl (Delores) Hollowell; her sisters Leah (Dick) Miller, Mary (Paul) Coleman, David Clodfelder; and Kenton Keele. Lois worked for North Vermillion High School as a cook for 35 and half years. She enjoyed her craft projects, including crocheting, making doll clothes, scrapbooking, and making cards. She was a member of the Cayuga Christian Church until she moved to Covington where she attended First Baptist Church. A celebration of Lois life will be held at 12:00pm (EST), Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Covington, Indiana 420 3rd St. Covington, Indiana 47932 with her grandson, Bryan Thompson, officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm (EST) on Saturday prior to her service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Hopewell Cemetery, Rileysburg, IN.
