Danville- Lois Marie Tuttle, 78, of Danville died at 6:58 PM on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. She was born on August 16, 1932 near Jamesburg, IL to Vivian F. and Dora M. Carpenter Poulson. She married Richard Tuttle on June 3, 1950 in Lafayette, IN. He survives. Also surviving is son Mark (Boo) Tuttle of Westville; daughter Rose Tuttle of Bloomington, IL; sister Bonnie (Dave) Crose of Danville; brother Lonnie (Dee) Poulson of Danville; brother-in-law Andy Lawson; sister-in-law Dorothy Poulson; and 6 grandsons Justin, Jesse, Dalton, Ty, Austin, and Mason. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Jerry, son-in-law Bill Simpson, brother Buck Poulson, sister Sis Lawson, and a grandson Sean Simpson. Lois worked at the Sears Box Factory for 10 years, but retired in 1994 from K-Mart where she worked in the millinery department. Lois hobby was her grandsons who she loved very much. She enjoyed going to their ballgames and activities. A service to celebrate Lois life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 4, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Pastor James Blue will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, February 3 also at Sunset in Danville.
