Lois L. Taylor

Danville- Lois L. Taylor, 84, of Danville passed away at 4:40 AM on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Danville Care Center. She was born on March 24, 1926 in Ridgefarm, IL to Lawrence D. and Nora E. Lewis Grant. She first married Marion F. Taylor Jr., whom she later married again on July 18, 1992. Marion preceded her in death on July 29, 2001. She also married Lyle W. Campbell on August 23, 1957. He preceded her in death on June 15, 1981. Surviving is son Marion F. (JoAnn) Taylor III of Tilton; daughter Diane Hallett of Danville; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, four sisters, and son-in-law Jerry Hallett. Lois was a member at Northside Church of the Nazarene in Danville where she was very involved in the churchs activities, including serving as treasurer for several years. She loved to crochet afghans and entered them into competition many times over the years. A service to celebrate the life of Lois Taylor will be held at 10 AM on Monday, February 7, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Pastor Charles Hess will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 to 8PM on Sunday, February 6, also at Sunset in Danville.
