Lois Haines

Danville - Lois Haines, 86, of Danville, IL passed away on April 16, 2014. She was born September 8, 1927 in Chicago, IL. The daughter of Raymond and Tora (Almgrahm) Johnson. She married Robert Haines Sr. on May 14, 1949 in Chrystal Lake, IL. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert Sr.; her sons, Bob (Rita) Haines of Oakwood, Mark (Dolly) Haines of Twin Falls, Idaho and Paul (Renee) Haines of Ventura, California; her grandchildren, Cody, Salvador, James, Shawn, Ben, Wendy, and Lisa; her great-grandchildren; and her special friends, Bernice Winsted, Dorothy Powell, and Jim and Cheryl Vliet. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Steven Haines; and her brother, George Johnson. Lois was an avid golf player in her younger years; and in her later years she never missed a match on T.V. Lois also enjoyed sitting back at home and reading a book. Above all else, Lois loved her family and she will be sorely missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have known her.
