LLOYD WIESEMANN Lloyd Wiesemann, 81, of Danville, died at 7:18 p.m. Thursday, February 10th, 2011 at his home, surrounded by loving family. Lloyd was born December 15th, 1929, in Westville, Illinois, the son of Henry and Leavella Roberts Wiesemann. He married Ann Jeanette Bernardi November 10th, 1951, at St. Patrick Church in Danville. She survives. Also surviving are his children, Julie (Michael) Henson of Peoria, Illinois; Jane (Dennis) Graham of Canton, Michigan; David (Annette) Wiesemann of Pewaukee, Wisconsin; and John Wiesemann of New Haven, Indiana. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, Stephen and Shelby Graham, and Beth Graham (Brent) Maupin of Canton, Michigan; Jessica Henson (Mark) Klepacki of Bloomingdale, Illinois, Allison and Rachel Henson of Peoria, Illinois; Ashley, Luke and Nate Wiesemann of Pewaukee, Wisconsin; Eric and Josh Wiesemann of New Haven, Indiana. Great-grandchildren Connor, Katelyn and Christian Lloyd Maupin of Canton, Michigan and Tyson Wiesemann of New Haven, Indiana survive in addition to a former daughter-in-law, Brenda Doster of New Haven, Indiana; a sister, Beverly (Arthur) Kramp of Danville as well as several nieces and nephews. His parents and three brothers, Ed, Buford and Fred, and a nephew, Jimmy Kramp, preceded him in death. Lloyd served with the Army Engineers in Korea from 1951 to 1953, and was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, in Westville. Lloyd and his wife were high school sweethearts and members of the first graduating class of Schlarman High School, in 1949. He attended DACC. He had been employed at Modern Machine Shop and Leverenz Electric, and was engaged in the real estate business with his wife for several years. He retired as an electrician from the Danville VA Medical Center in 1996. Lloyd was a gentle, loving family man, who took great pleasure working with his hands, whether it was keeping the family home in good repair, tending to the yard, or enjoying various hobbies such as woodcarving. He especially enjoyed Rose of Sharon. He had planted hundreds of them around his home and kept family and friends supplied with starts of the plant. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 15th, 2011 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Westville with Rev. Timothy Sauppe officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home in Danville, with a rosary service at 3:30 p.m. Monday. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Danville. Memorials may be made to the Womens Care Clinic, 200 West Williams Street, Danville, Illinois 61832.
