Kingman, Ind. -- Lisa L. Head, 49, of Kingman(Lodi, Ind.), passed away at 11:43 p.m. EDT Saturday, March 21, 2009 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Lisa was born September 1, 1959 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Ray and Jackie Sprague Curry. She married Gary L. Head on April 13, 1995 in Henderson, Kentucky. He survives. Other survivors include her children: Jason(Tammy)Curry of Georgetown, Illinois; Shane(Shelly)Dowers of Danville, Illinois; Clayton Dowers of Indianola, Illinois; Spring(Travis)Denney of Williamsport, Indiana; Jessica(Shaun)Starkey and Andie Head both of Cayuga, Indiana; fifteen grandchildren; one brother, Scott(Marissa)Curry of Fairfield, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. Lisa was preceded in death by her father in law, Robert Head. Lisa worked as a selector at McLane Midwest in Danville, Illinois. She enjoyed playing slot machines, boating and riding with her husband on their motorcycle. Lisa was a big Indianapolis Colts fan and enjoyed watching them on T.V. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Funeral services: 2 p.m. EDT Thursday, March 26, 2009 at the Cayuga Christian Church, 106 East Walnut Street; Officiating: Paul Kent; Burial: Thomas Cemetery in Newport, Indiana; Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EDT Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the Cayuga Christian Church. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana in charge of arrangements.
