Lisa J. Pearman

Newport, Ind. - Lisa J. Pearman, 54, of Newport and formerly of Covington, Indiana passed away at 9:45 a.m. EDT Sunday, April 21, 2019 at her residence.

She was born May 6, 1964 in Danville, Illinois the daughter of the late Basil and Alice J. (Keller) Niccum.

Lisa married Edward P. Pearman on February 14, 2005 in Newport, Indiana. He survives.

Other survivors include her children: Alan (Kayla) Phelps of Newport, Indiana; David (Lisa) Phelps of Waynetown, Indiana; Laiken Phelps of Covington, Indiana; Michael Ray Phelps of Cayuga, Indiana; Mikael Phelps of Tilton, Illinois; Morgan (Brayden) Knutti of Veedersburg, Indiana; Samantha Phelps of Newport, Indiana and Olivia Grace Pearman of Newport, Indiana; several grandchildren; in-laws: Eddie (Donna) Pearman of Newport, Indiana; cousins: Sonny (Susie) Keller of Covington, Indiana; Jody (Gary) Rush of Waynetown, Indiana and Linda Riek of Danville, Illinois, and best friends: Steve (Kay) High of Newport, Indiana and Scott (Vickie) Ashley of Williamsport, Indiana.

Lisa attended the Cayuga Christian Church. She was a 1982 graduate of Covington High School. Lisa enjoyed playing and coaching softball, crafting, watching the Indianapolis Colts, card night with the girls and spending time with her family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5635 West 96th Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana 46278. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana is assisting the family with arrangements.
