Lisa G. Mcqueen

Lisa G. McQueen, 53 of Covington, IN passed away on December 19, 2017 at her home. She was born on July 12, 1964 in Monticello, IN the daughter of Jim and Sharon (Misenheimer) Austin. She married Steve McQueen on June 2, 1984 in Covington, IN and he survives. Lisa will be deeply missed by her mother, Sharon Knebel of Monticello, IN, husband, Steve McQueen of Covington, IN, children; Kristen (Daniel) McQueen-Osika of DeMotte, IN, Benjamin McQueen and Taylor McQueen of DeMotte, IN, sister, Alison (Robert) Shepherd of Fishers, IN, two grandchildren; Jace and Nathan Webb. She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Austin and stepfather, Paul Knebel. Lisa worked in Covington as a beautician for several years, as a hostess at Maple Corner Restaurant and a seamstress at the sewing factory. She loved to play softball, collect antiques, play cards, garden, listen to music and be outdoors. Lisa was an avid Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Chicago Bears fan. Her and Steve were members of Benson Chapel Church and loved their dog "Jade" and cat "Puff". Services for Lisa will be private for family and friends.
