Lisa Ann Elwell Cox Mcbee

Lisa Ann Elwell Cox McBee went to be with her heavenly father and beloved family and friends who have gone before her at 5:25a.m. Monday November 6, 2006. She passed at her home after fighting cancer for over four years. Lisa was born March 20, 1963 in Danville the daughter of Richard H. and Margaret Maggie Crane Elwell. She married Ron Cox in 1984. He survives. She later married Larry G. McBee on April 15, 2000. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2006. She was in nursing at Danville Care and the Veterans Administration and later worked for the South Gilbert Speedway. Lisa is survived by her father Richard H. (Janice) Elwell. Grandmother Bev (Keith) Baughman; sons Chris Elwell, Brad (Vicki White) Cox, Steve (Tina) McBee, Larry McBee Jr.; daughters Robin (Karl ) Ramsey and Brenda (Gene) Perry; Brothers Richard L. Elwell and Randy (Michelle) McBee ; sisters Vicki L. Elwell, Cindy (Chuck McBride) Jumps, Susan (Lee) Johnson, Karen (Ralph) Nicholson and Linda McBee; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Also many loving nieces, nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry, mother Maggie, brother Michael Elwell, and mother in law Betty McBee, nephews Mark and David Jumps in addition to many other special people who were in her life. Lisa loved life and people most of all her family and friends. May we all meet again in that heavenly home where there will be no pain, parting or sorrow. A celebration of Lisas life will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2006 at 11:00am at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Ramie Gordon officiating.
