Linda Turner

Linda Turner, 82, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center. She was born on April 9, 1938 the daughter of Lois and Bertha Porter in Danville, IL.

Linda is preceded in death by both her parents; her husband, Harvey Turner; daughter Kristina; two stepsons, David and Ed; and her brother, Charles Porter.

She is survived by stepsons, Timothy Kinnaird and Mark Kinnaird; daughter, Valerie Kinnaird; Grandchildren, Joshua (Jeanette), Jessica, Deena (Kevin), and Levi (Cait); great grandchildren, Kaiden, Cyland, Kylieeah, Jackson, Nicklaus, Bryin, Brandin, Destiknee, Eric, Kayla, Allieeah, Castiel, and Levi Jr.; as well as a sister, Barbara King.

Linda was the most caring, loving, person anyone could meet. Her smile would light up the entire room. Her favorite times were the holidays when the entire family was together. Anything involving family made Linda the happiest. When she was not spending time with family, she enjoyed playing bingo and dice. Over the years she collected several different knick-knacks, but she mostly loved to collect angels and dolls.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Per Lindas wishes cremation rites will be accorded and a private family Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
