Linda Sue Miller

Linda Sue (Gayler) Miller 68, of Williamsport, IN passed away on Friday, July 13th 2018 at 11:58 A.M. She went to be with her Lord and Savior while at home surrounded by family and her closest friend Barb Hall. She was born on June 2nd, 1950 in Williamsport, IN the daughter of Loraine (Haniford) Gayler and Marvin A. (Bud) Gayler. She married Gary Duane Miller on October 2nd, 1993. He survives. She received her GED from DACC in 1980 then went on to work at Quaker Oats in Danville for 23 years, retiring in 2008. She loved watching movies, reading, and playing board games with her grandbabies. She loved watching Joseph Prince and reading the Word. More than anything, she loved her family, her husband Gary, her daughters, and her grandbabies. Linda will be deeply missed by her husband, Gary Miller, children: Carrie (Dennis) Poer and Kelly (Rock) Shuck Robbins, step-children: Jason Miller and Shannon Miller, grandchildren: Rachel (Zach) Cotten, Cody Robbins, Masen Poer, and Rowen Poer. Kaitlyn Miller, Maddison Miller, and Bristol Miller, siblings: Gary (Judy) Gayler, Sandy (Terry) Holland, Vicki (Randy) Hollis, Tammy Nickle (George Galloway), several nieces and nephews whom she loved and her best friend of 50 years Barb Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents, Loraine (Haniford) Gayler and Marvin A. (Bud) Gayler, her sister Sandy Holland, sister-in-law Judy Gayler, brother-in-law Les Nickle, and stepdaughter Carissa Miller. A celebration of Linda's life will be held at 6:00 PM EST on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Sunset's Covington Chapel, 420 3rd St. Covington, IN 47832 with Gary Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00-6:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Covington at a later date.
