Danville Linda Sue Duensing, 80, of Danville, IL passed away at 4:36 AM on August 23, 2021 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Linda was born on September 7, 1940 the daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Elizabeth Ann (Higgins) Miller in Danville, IL.

Survivors include her two sons, Joseph (Paula) Boyd of Covington, IN and J. Todd Boyd of Danville, IL, two grandchildren, Jason Boyd of St Joseph, IL and Benjamin Sanford of Davenport, IA, two great-grandchildren, Braeden Boyd and Trenton Callon, one great great-grandchild, Alaric Callon, one brother, D. Mark (Jan) Miller of Waco, TX, one nephew, Linton Miller of Waco, TX as well as a very special life-long friend, Anne King of Danville, IL.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Joellen Boyd

Linda had a strong Christian faith in God and did Bible study every day. In her younger years, she was in numerous plays in high school and became the front singer for the Johnny Llewellyn Orchestra in Danville, IL. She retired from Illinois Power where she served as a Customer Service Representative assisting families with electrical usage in their homes. In her free time she enjoyed playing golf, gardening and was a full on seamstress; sewing a variety of clothing for her family and others. Linda would make baby blankets and pajamas for children for mission work through various organizations. She also was a lover of animals and a true sponsor of local animal shelters.

A private family service will be held at this time. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 assisted the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be made in Lindas memory to a local Animal Shelter of the donors choice.
