Linda Slazas

Linda Lee (Bartley) Slazas, 60, of Westville passed away at 11:48 a.m. Wednesday October 28, 2009 at Provena Covenant in Urbana. She was born on March 2, 1949 in Danville, IL the daughter of Creed and Helen Malkus Bartley. She is survived by: his children, W. Douglas Wolfe of Danville, Laura (Dan Dolbert) Wolfe of Farmer City, and Allison K. (Ryan) Allison of Catlin; her grandchildren, Keith Wolfe and Morgan Allison; her sisters, Barb (Dan) Reffett of Danville, Patty Bartley of Westville, and Susan (Andy) Atwood of Westville; a sister in law, Dorothy (Harold) Hyland of Westville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Slazas, her parents, and one brother, Dan Bartley. Linda was an avid Cubs fan. A memorial service for Linda will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday November 1, 2009 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel in Westville. A memorial visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday before the funeral service. Memorials may be made to the Westville Public Library.
